White Tārā Meditation

Tārā is a female Bodhisattva typically associated with Tibetan Buddhism. She is one of the more popular figures in the Tibetan pantheon of deities. Tārā (pronounced tah' rah), whose name in means "Star", originated in Indian Hinduism as the Mother Creator, and her many representations spread from Ireland to Indonesia under many different names. As White Tara, she rose from a lotus blooming in the lake that formed from the first tear of compassion of great bodhisattva Avalokiteswara (whose human incarnation is the Dalai Lama), and is considered his consort

The White Tārā is the personification of compassion, long life, healing and serenity. The followers of the White Tārā believe that the gift of longevity is granted for the practice of compassion and service to others.

The words to the White Tārā Mantra are:

Oṃ Tāre Tuttāre Ture Mama Ayuḥ Punya Jñānā Puṣtiṃ Kuru Svāhā

Humanity Healing is proud to share with you this sacred meditation mantra for the White Tārā.

The Humanity Healing Network is producing a series of meditation mantras and videos in conjunction with Isabella Rajotte and Webs of Sound Production, Canada.

Much Metta,

The Humanity healing Pledge of Unity

To: All Who Care About Life, Healing, Spirituality, Compassion & Unity

The Humanity Healing Pledge of Unity

by
The Humanity Healing Network & Team

I, _____________________________, freely and wholly pledge to stand as a peer, equal in all ways, evident unto all, that I shall enduringly support
The Pledge of Unity and join Humanity Healing in the following ways:

* To embrace diversity in celebration for the rich uniqueness of the tapestry it creates and brings to this world.

* To work to educate myself in what is happening in my home, my state, my county, my country, and the world at large, that I may be able to influence the voice of the officials I elect or the rulers or officials whom I support.

* To give to the world from the core of my being positive movement, ever-affirming the One that we are.

* To set aside anger, hatred and separation in favor of peaceful, harmonious resolution to any and all disputes in which I may be involved.

* To help another with random acts of kindness, not seeking any form of payment or acknowledgment, knowing what I have given freely is duly noted by all who really matters.

* To hold my elected or ruling officiates responsible for keeping their pre-election or ruling promises to we, the peoples of this world.

* To understand that every action I take makes a difference, for good or for ill; it is my choice and responsibility to opt for the good in all situations and circumstances.

* To practice compassionate living every day with the world at large.

* To view others as my peers, equal in every way, even if I do not choose to embrace their choices or support their issues or beliefs.

* To practice kindness to animals in showing them respect, learning about how our actions can all too easily negatively tip the ecological balance of the earth.

* To practice environmental responsibility by refusing to litter, embracing recycling and composting when possible.

* To buy and ingest organic foods and beverages to save the earth, my body, my children and their bodies from harmful additives or pesticides, thereby also helping to support both green living and organic farms throughout the world.

* To help educate my children and/or grandchildren in ways that promote peace, harmony, self-respect, respect for others, social, economical and environmental awareness.

* To set aside any prejudices I formerly held that I may actively work to make this world a better, more loving, safer and peaceful place for myself, my family, my friends and for my extended family throughout the world.

* To vote and to educate myself on this right (if available in your country), not to take this for granted for it is freedom.

* To see the wisdom in the elderly; finding within myself the ability to view them not as burdens to an overloaded system but rather as loved ones who need more aid. (We gently remind you that one day you, too, shall grow old if you are very fortunate.)

* To help protect and care for the children in this world, even if I am not a parent; to harbor them from harm. They are our future, our hope and they will hold the responsibility to continue the reality of forming this brave world of Oneness long after we've gone.

* To see that my own gifts, however they are practiced, as long as they harm none, are beautiful and meant for the sharing; in the adding of our uniqueness is where we discover all the chords of the choir of the rainbow whom "we the people" represent.

* To practice self-forgiveness and forgiveness of others.

* To release harmlessly to the Universe any shame, guilt or blame I hold within me that I may heal - become whole - for my greatest good and for the greatest good of all.

* To see the world as filled with possibilities and not only a place of hate or struggle.

* To live life passionately and creatively, however I define that, as long as I harm none.

* To use my voice with care, responsibility and coming from a place that is born of love and compassion and naught else.

* To spend no less than 15 minutes a day to soothe, rejuvenate and cultivate my mind, body and soul; this time is focused exclusively upon me and no other, for if I have "run dry" what can I give to another? As an equal child of all that is I matter as much as any.

* To officially join with Humanity Healing in unity, raising my own voice in accordance with all, in the spirit of Love and Oneness.

We humbly thank you and we warmly welcome you to the Humanity Healing Network and Family!
